Fuel & Energy Surcharge

Everyone is well aware of the effect of rapid inflation currently, whether it’s when we refuel our cars or pay our home energy bills, the additional costs are apparent everywhere. Unfortunately, as a business, we are also affected but on a larger scale.

As a family managed business, we take a genuine interest in everyone we work with, whether our customers, our team or our suppliers. Every stakeholder is vital to us and we want to do the best for them. Our bulk promotions we’ve negotiated with suppliers to pass the savings on to our customers are for this very reason. For our team, we have increased their pay in line with inflation and with our suppliers, we work closely with them to ensure a long-term relationship.

A number of suppliers are now applying fuel and energy surcharges to goods coming in to us of up to 14% in an attempt to combat the ongoing inflationary challenges. We have been absorbing these along with the other increased costs for a number of months now, however we are unable to do so indefinitely.

As a result of this, we wanted to serve notice that from Monday 8^th August 2022, we will be applying a 8% surcharge to quotes and orders. Existing quotes and orders will be honored to ensure minimal impact for our valued customers.
