These pegs have many different uses, from supporting the bottom rail on closeboard fencing through to providing a fixing point for path edging timber.
1. Pressure treated to give protection in ground contact, helping prevent wood rot
2. Sourced from mills with up-to-date machinery, giving you the reassurance of quality cut timber to make installation easier
For closeboard fencing, these pegs not only support the bottom rail but also fix to the gravel board and into the ground, helping to maintain the fence structure to prevent ‘fence sag?.
You will need 1 peg per bay of closeboard fencing, so to work this out, divide the total fence run (in metres) by your bay width (normally 3m) and this is how many pegs you need.
For path edging, you generally have the pegs at 1.8m spacing to support a 3.6m gravel board, so divide the total length required by 1.8 to work out the number of pegs.
