Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to pick orders, serve customers, load/unload vehicles and put goods in away.

Overview:

• Type: Permanent, Full Time
• Location: Boundary House, 36a Walworth Road, Andover, SP10 5LH
• Department: Operations
• Reports To: Operations Foreman
• Hours of Work: 7.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, 30mins unpaid lunch break
• Salary: Competitive
• Bonus: Team bonus based on company & team performance, up to approximately £3,500/annum (paid monthly)

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

• Picking orders for collection and delivery
• Provide a helpful and friendly service to any customers that come in
• Load our own transport and/or outside hauliers with orders to be delivered
• Unload goods in and put stocks away.
• Carry out routine stock checks
• Keep yard/warehouse area neat and tidy
• Ensure stock is kept in correct locations & manage any overstocks efficiently
• Notifying line manager if low on packaging products
• Covering other team members due to sickness/holiday
• Complete any routine checks required (e.g. forklift truck checks)
• Deliveries/collections (as required)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• FLT License (Counterbalance and/or telehandler)
• Math Skills (addition, subtraction, counting)
• Excellent English
• Customer Service Skills
• Computer Literate
• Accuracy/Attention to detail

Desirables:

• Car license (able to drive 3.5t van if required)
• SEMA racking inspection certified (training available)
