Gravel Board (Treated)

Installing a gravel board (also known as a ‘kick board’) is an important part of a timber fence.

The purpose of a gravel board is to protect the lower area of the fence and prevent it from being in ground contact, which stops the bottom of the fence from rotting.

These gravel boards can also be used for path/lawn edging by fixing them to 50x50mm (2×2″) square Pointed Pegs.

In order to work out the quantity you require, divide the total length (whether fence run or length of path edging required) by the chosen length of gravel board and if necessary, round up to the nearest whole number.
